Paintsmiths ‘’Green’’ Paint partner for Longbeach Mall revamp
Paintsmiths is proud to be the paint brand of choice for the Longbeach Mall revamp in Noordhoek, Western Cape. The mall is taking an eco-friendly stance with Zero Voc painted walls, supplied by Paintsmiths.
The busy mall has also decided to go all ‘green’ with Christmas décor with a first in South Africa – eco-friendly Christmas décor plan. The décor is hand made from recycled paper and fabric pulp which was designed and developed in India.
Being eco-friendly or environmentally friendly is more important than ever before. The simplest way to define what being eco-friendly means is to say that it is the act of living with intent. The intent is focused on not creating harm to environment, and to prevent as much harm from occurring to the environment through our interactions with it. The Longbeach Mall Management decided to implement this by installing environmentally friendly Christmas décor to reduce the long-term impact on the environment.
Paintsmiths Group MD, Stuart Hunter is proud to be involved with other businesses that promotes sustainability. He says “The future for Paintsmiths is bright. We will continue to be a paint specialist and we will play our part in driving the paint industry forward with a strong focus on environmentally friendly products. As trends changed in the market, environmentally friendly products became more prominent and important in the market and in early 2000, the company introduced the first environmentally friendly paint under the Midas brand and have been growing the brand ever since. Paintsmiths is a proudly South African business that provides specialist paint solutions to the market and to their customers. The 35 stores countrywide serve South Africa with great dedication and knowledge.
So here is to a very green Christmas!
